About
Hi!
Thanks for visiting my site!
Motomathics started out as a project with a simple goal: model suspension in a better way. Compression and rebound seldomly share damping rates, so why should the simulations we use assume that they do?
Step response simulations are some of the earliest analysis that takes place during vehicle design and I needed a better tool for this work. I found that the sweet spot is to not overcomplicate things with too many tire inputs so I kept it a 1-DOF system and put the complexity into the direction based responses. I've used it on multiple vehicle designs and found it's a perfect tool to maximize result usefulness and minimize analysis time, allowing a design to move forward. Real world testing can never be skipped or replaced so the goal here is to get an initial starting point for testing that carries a high chance of success.
Alongside the step response tool I have many analysis tools that I decided to condense, clean up and share with people like yourself.
So whether you are a professional shop, weekend warrior, engineer, or anyone else looking to add some tools to their toolbox, Motomathics is for you.
